The special design of the chainstays has two advantages: the extra tyre clearance prevents mud from accumulating easily, and a more compact length makes handling more agile. Depending on the frame size, you can fit tyres with widths of up to 2.8 inches (27.5 wheels) or 2.6 inches (29 wheels). -
